America's highest ranking military officer, Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said Saturday that Americans must be prepared for the possibility of a military confrontation with North Korea, whose nuclear program he deemed an urgent threat. 

"Many people have talked about military options with words like 'unimaginable,'" Dunford said. "I would probably shift that slightly and say it would be horrific, and it would be a loss of life unlike any we have experienced in our lifetimes, and I mean anyone who's been alive since World War II has never seen the loss of life that could occur if there's a conflict on the Korean Peninsula."

 

Dunford was speaking at the Aspen Security Forum, a gathering of national security officials, experts and others that wrapped up Saturday. His comments came in the wake of North Korea's testing of an inter-continental ballistic missile earlier this month.

"I've told my counterparts, both friend and foe," he added, "it is not unimaginable to have military options to respond to North Korean nuclear capability. What's unimaginable to me is allowing a capability that would allow a nuclear weapon to land in Denver, Colorado. That's unimaginable to me. So my job will be to develop military options to make sure that doesn't happen."

 

Dunford stressed the importance of continued economic and diplomatic pressure on Pyongyang, but dismissed the notion that a military option should not be on the table.

General Dunford's remarks come just 7 days after THREE United States Senators publicly spoke about "operational plans" being undertaken by the USA for a pre-emptive attack upon North Korea to put a halt to this growing danger.  That original story is HERE

 

"Sleeper Agents" Already Inside USA; Ready to Strike

For years, North Korea has been secreting intelligence agents and hardened military personnel into the west, mostly via China. At present, they are estimated to have several thousand "sleepers" inside the United States.

These "sleeper" agents not only work to gain technological information and advanced equipment for either replication by – or shipment back to  – North Korea, they have been amassing serious weapons caches.   Not just guns, but explosives, chemical and even biological weapons!

US Intelligence agencies also assess that North Korea has actual bio-weapons labs already in operation in at least two places inside the US, where  they are quietly producing dreadful bio-weapons to unleash on the American people when ordered to attack.  

Acquisition of these bio-weapon materials is not nearly as difficult as one might imagine.  For instance, Smallpox (i.e. Variola Virus) DNA is unlawful to possess, but "partial DNA strings" of its DNA are not only lawful to have, they can be obtained via postal mail!

A nation-state like North Korea, does have the technical knowledge as to how to piece-back-together such DNA strings to make a fully functioning Smallpox virus, and also has the technical knowledge to "weaponize" that virus to make it far more deadly.

Similarly, Y-Pestis – commonly called Bubonic or Pneumonic Plague, can also be weaponized.  And this disease is so fierce that a person who develops symptoms as they eat breakfast with their family, finds themselves eating dinner with their ancestors 8-10 hours later.  It kills THAT fast.

Thankfully, with the advent of modern antibiotics, Y-Pestis can be quickly treated . . . . but if we've been subjected to a weaponized attack, the antibiotics may not be available(because so many people need them)  or they may not work at all, depending upon how the disease has been weaponized!  The only safe bet is to avoid becoming infected.  If you become infected by TOUCHING the disease, it rots you like this:

Even though the United States has the ability to vaporize most of North Korea out of existence, it would not stop – or even prevent – Sleeper Agents from unleashing horrific bio-weapons attacks here in America, either before, during or after the outbreak of war.

How to Protect Yourself and Your Family

FILTER MASKS

Not every filter mask will work.  The painter or dust masks sold at places like Home Depot and Lowes won't do the job.  You need a SURGICAL-TYPE of mask rated at "N95" or "N100" by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).  

The masks are relatively cheap, less than $10 each.  So if you choose to plan in advance and get some, bear in mind you need ONE with you at WORK in case the attack happens while you're there.  You also need one IN YOUR CAR  for yourself and each member of your family (or with you if you're traveling via mas-transit to/from work) as well as several in your house. 

EYE PROTECTION (FROM AIR BORNE DISEASES)

Biological Weapons can infect you by being inhaled, but they can ALSO infect you through the tear-ducts in your EYES!   Airborne diseases hit your eye as you're walking (you don't even feel the microscopic particle), and as you blink, your eyelid washes the surface of your eye from top to bottom.  When a bio-weapon is washed by your blinking, it CAN (but may not always) make its way into your tear duct, then into your body. . . and BAM, you're infected.

So in a bio-weapons situation, aside from having a filter mask to protect your lungs, you really ought to have eye-protection too.  It's cheap.  The goggles below are "Waterproof goggles."  The idea being if they keep water out, they'll probably keep other crap out too.  Have one set with you at work, one set for each member of your family in each family car, and at least one set at home.

When it comes to outerwear to even HOPE to protect from external disease, the costs for "Guaranteed" protection are astronomical.  Actual "Bio-suits" costs THOUSANDS of dollars each, but there are very INEXPENSIVE temporary things you can buy to at least give yourself and your loved ones a fighting chance to get home alive, and stay alive.  

I DO NOT SELL BIO-SUITS, and the manufacturers below DO NOT GUARANTEE protection from biological exposure.  I am simply providing this information to you with the hope that having a little SOMETHING extra, is better than having nothing.  

With that caveat in mind, here are some TYVEK suits you should really think about getting.  I have some for me and my family, so I feel positive about recommending such protection to all of you.  The price range varies widely, so get what you can afford, because SOME extra protection it's better than nothing.

A year supply of stockpiled food may be overkill for most survival situations short of an apocalyptic event (i.e. TEOTWAWKI). However, if it helps you sleep better at night knowing you have a year’s worth of food stock on the premises, what’s that investment worth to you?

HAVE A CHANGING AREA RIGHT AT YOUR FRONT DOOR (Or in your garage)

You do NOT want to go through the trouble of protecting yourself with all this stuff,only to arrive home and walk all the bio-crap (that the gear protected you from) into your house! ! !    Have a Changing Area either at your front door or in your garage.

Below are Pop-Up Changing room Pods.  Inside the changing room, you have a box of Tall Kitchen Trash can plastic garbage bags.  OUTSIDE, within arms reach, you have a set of fresh clothing on a small table or stand – or in their own plastic bag.

You go into the changing room and get your OUTERWEAR OFF.  It goes IMMEDIATELY into a plastic garbage bag and you tie the bag shut.

You then reach out to get your fresh clothing and put it on. 

Now you've protected your home from spreading anything that may have landed on your clothing while you were outside!

NEXT, you walk the potentially contaminated clothes directly to the laundry room and WITHOUT TOUCHING THE STUFF IN THE BAG, turn the bag upside down and dump the clothes into the washer, turning it on immediately to wash the clothes.

Forget separating whites and coloreds' this is about survival and keeping potentially deadly crap away from you and your loved ones.  

You've gotten rid of the potentially bad stuff, and done more to protect yourself than most other people will even THINK to do!

 

HOME PROTECTION PREPS

Way back when . . .  the US Department of Homeland Security encouraged people to purchase rolls of clear plastic, and rolls of Duct tape in case of Bio-attack by terrorists.  The idea was that if there was such an attack, we close all the windows and doors to the house, and place sheets of plastic over the INSIDE, duct-taping it sealed, to keep out potentially lethal junk.

They don't mention this much nowadays, but the idea was sound and so I re-introduce this concept for those who may be interested.

You buy a couple rolls of plastic and either pre-cut sheets to fit all your windows and doors, or just keep the roll intact for when you actually NEED to do this.

A Prepper’s Guide in Safeguarding a Home

 

If a bio-attack happens, close all the storm windows, regular windows and doors, unroll the plastic to sizes big enough to cover the entire perimeter of windows and doors (outside the woodwork), then duct tape the plastic completely around the window/door to seal it.

Homes "breathe."  You will not suffocate by doing this.  Once the initial attack is over, chances are good the normal weather will dissipate the danger and you'll be able to take the covering off within a day or so.  

I'll leave it here for now, but future articles will talk about more severe North Korea Sabotage – taking out our electrical power grid, the need for an Emergency Generator or Solar power to have SOME electric during such sabotage; the need to have emergency food and water in case they attack our water supplies, or if a disease outbreak forces a QUARANTINE, making it impossible for you to go out and buy food – and also making it impossible for you to call for a food delivery.
