West Warned It’s “One Step Away From The Unthinkable”

Putin lit a candle in the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos for victims of the Crocus terror attack, says shortly after this solemn religious observance, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova most gravely assessed: “The American political engineers cornered themselves with their tales that the Crocus City Hall attack was carried out by the ISIS terror group…Hence Washington’s daily bailing out of its wards in Kiev, and the attempt to cover itself and the Zelensky regime they created with the scarecrow of the outlawed ISIS…What is the logic, you may ask?…Money and power…And, considering the international legal ban on direct interventions, it is also about sowing a controlled chaos and reshaping the world order by the hands of terrorists”.

Late last evening, this report notes, a Moscow court convened to hear prosecutors demands on pre-trial detention for the group of men detained in the aftermath of Friday’s Crocus City Hall attack, which claimed the lives of 137, about which was revealed: “The suspects, all of whom are nationals of Tajikistan, appeared individually…Thus far, terrorism charges have been leveled against 32-year-old Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev, who faces a life sentence if found guilty…Prosecutors told Judge Timur Vakhrameev that the suspect had admitted his guilt”—a revelation that followed Editor-In-Chief Margarita Simonyan of the Russian state media group Rossiya Segodnya observing: “It immediately becomes obvious why American media shouted in unison that it was ISIS…Because this is not ISIS…It’s just that the actors were selected in such a way that they could convince the stupid part of the global community that it was ISIS…These are Ukrainians…And the fact that even before the arrests, even before the names of the perpetrators were found, Western intelligence services began to convince the world that it was ISIS – that’s what gave them away”.

With it well documented that ISIS only uses religiously devout suicide terrorists to carry out attacks, this report continues, it caused top Russian nuclear war advisor Dmitry Trenin to assess: “The US government’s version of an Islamic State connection to the attack has been met with skepticism by Russian officials and commentators…Firstly, they were surprised by how quickly – virtually within minutes – Washington pointed the finger at the group…What also drew the attention of Russian observers was the US reference to an IS-linked news site which had claimed responsibility for the crime…Normally, all such sources are subjected to thorough checks…But not this time…Figures in Russia have also noted that American spokesmen immediately, and without prompting, declared that Ukraine was in no way linked to the act of terror…Other criticisms of the American version include the style of the attack (no political statements or demands were made); the admission by one of the captured attackers that he had shot innocent people for money; and the fact that this was not planned as a suicide operation”.

Along with France raising its terrorism alert to the highest level in response to the Crocus City Hall attack, this report details, American geopolitical journalist Michael Snyder, in his just released open letter “What Just Happened In Russia Is Going To Have Enormous Implications For All Of Us”, grimly warned: “The horrifying terror attack that we just witnessed in Russia is going to change everything…The Russian population is crying out for revenge, and Russian leaders seem convinced that the Ukrainians were behind the attack…In fact, no matter how much politicians in the western world insist that “ISIS-K” was responsible, they are never going to be able to convince the Russians that it wasn’t the Ukrainians…Dozens of missiles have already been fired at cities all over Ukraine in response to the terror attack, and this is probably just the initial wave…The Russians are going to punish the Ukrainians for what they think that they have done, and that is likely to shift public opinion in the western world regarding sending ground troops into Ukraine…Needless to say, once NATO troops are officially sent into Ukraine, we are just one step away from the unthinkable”.

With the Western world now warned that it’s “one step away from the unthinkable”, this report concludes, famed Australian investigative journalist Caitlin Johnstone most factually observed:

The worst actions of your government happen not in secrecy, but right out in the open under the narrative cover of mass media propaganda. The western empire doesn’t hide its worst deeds, it just manipulates the way people think about them.

The empire’s worst atrocities happen in the open because the empire’s worst atrocities involve butchering and starving huge numbers of people, which is impossible to do in secret.

They can assassinate a government official here and sign a malignant secret agreement there without needing to do it openly, but murder at mass scale isn’t something you can conceal in the information age.

The US-centralized globe-spanning power structure therefore relies heavily on its historically unprecedented ability to psychologically manipulate global populations when carrying out such atrocities.

The empire has invested more heavily in soft power than any empire or government in human history, and the science of modern propaganda has been advancing under this investment at least as rapidly as military technology has been.

That’s why you can have the most damning information imaginable about the people who rule over us sitting right out in the open, and you won’t see anywhere remotely close to the public outrage and backlash you ought to see.

The US government can literally back a genocide without hiding any part of it, and the political-media class will simply manipulate public psychology into getting lost in a bunch of hogwash about self-defense and human shields and difficulties delivering food and medical supplies and hey Biden is working hard to do the right thing here and it’s all very complicated and everything bad that happens in Gaza can be blamed on Hamas anyway.

It’s a truly astonishing power that would inspire awe if it wasn’t so evil. Power is controlling what happens, but real power is controlling what people think about what happens.

Whistleblowers and investigative journalists provide an invaluable service to humanity for which we should all be grateful, but what this civilization needs more than anything right now is not so much new information about what the powerful are doing, but rather the ability to lucidly perceive the information that’s already been made public.

We need people clearly seeing what’s already right in front of them, without the lens of distortion and obfuscation that the powerful have placed over their eyes.

Until we find a way to snap a critical mass of people out of the propaganda-induced coma the empire has placed them in, they’ll be able to get away with any evil they need to commit in order to secure their interests and advance their agendas.

We can work on this front by doing everything we can to get people looking at the reality of what our rulers are doing at every opportunity, in as creative and interesting a way as we can come up with.

The more eyes open to the truth, the more lucid perceivers there will be to help open the eyes of others.
